Ascents as sport by Thibaut having Distinct route

Got it #2ndGo but had the top bit dialed from having worked on ´Lock ´n’ Load’ recently. Similar difficulty to LnL, perhaps easier even.

1st go today, #4thGo overall. Probably on the softer side of the grade, even though it suits my style of climbing. For my height anyway... Great movement and well bolted. Highly recommended, especially for climbers looking to break that grade barrier at TP as more accessible than Giarda and Strong Men, IMO.

Awesome climb. Clear crux at the 4th bolt. The rest is pretty cruisy once you know where to go. Extending the 4th clip helped. Got it #5thGo.

Would be more enjoyable if it had its own anchor. Extended bolts 3, 4 & 5 for a much nicer experience.

Feels impossible until you find the micro beta for the feet. Waipapa-style, open book stemming test piece. Great movement and bolting. Suits my style. #3rdGo

So overrated... Plenty of better climbs around. 10-12 tries.

Unexpectedly got it #2ndGo although I had to fight for it. Took me a while to figure out a viable sequence and which crimps are good enough to pull on. Crux at 2nd bolt, the rest is OK if you like small crimps. Great climb, worth coming to this small crag for I reckon.

2nd tie-in today, 5th overall. Remembered most of the beta from the last session which greatly helped bag a quick send today.

Tricky start with crux at first bolt, followed by powerful moves above second bolt, then it gets easier to top out. I extended the anchor to add an extra point of protection. This climb deserves a third bolt as a fall towards the top is definately possible and it could be awkward.

Christmas miracle... Climbed using the same holds as FA, slightly different beta. Stayed just right of the bolts the whole way.

Powerful moves on sloppers and bad feet, followed by a technical, reachy move and a difficult clip above bolt. Undoubtedly V5/25 for my height. Pefect conditions today, sending this one at dusk right before nightfall. Tricky to project as you have to clip 4th bolt after fully finishing crux sequence, so you end up falling back to the start each time. Difficulty falls between 'Lust for Life' and 'Dodor'.

9 attempts over 4 sessions. Still had to fight for the send. Proudest ascent of this past year. Invested a lot of time and effort into this one, stoked to get it just before going away. 24 is a ludicrous proposition for this beast of a route.

So many hard moves, definitely possible to fall at multiple spots. The red point will be a fight for sure. Cool hand jam at 4th bolt. The kind of routes that only grants you one good go per session.

Technical stemming throughout and a couple of difficult mantles. Mega hard.

A bit much for a rest day.

Felt absolutely nails for the grade. Unless you’re meant to climb way out right but that wouldn’t make sense given the bolt positions.

Not to be attempted without a stick clip or crash pads as the bouldery start up to first bolt is no walk in the park. Difficult, technical crux between 3rd and 4th bolts. Need better head game to try harder.
