Ascents as sport by Josh Worley having Distinct route

Nice climbing and with the rain today the final few holds were a bit wet but the climbing was easy enough it wasn't a problem. Thought this might be a bit soft at 11b however maybe it was just a good day. Nice route.

Great climb with a thought provoking crux.

Loving these long pitches at Bataan that get harder as you climb higher.

Awesome climbing. I didn't think the bottom was bad and the crux was fun. Steep 5.10 jug haul to the top.

Pretty weird and awkward climbing. Average at best.

Boulder problem down low followed by nice slab climbing. Second onsight at the grade on the day. Stoked!

2nd attempt. Came back for the last climb of the day for a proper red point. Thin crux.

First day outside for the season and a bit of a test for my finger. Held up ok which was a good sign. This was a fun route.

2nd burn. The final move pulling the roof prevented the onsight, easily done second burn. Great climbing.

Took a couple of goes to get this one. Had only been opened the day before and a few key holds are quite hidden. Quality climbing

2nd burn. Nice climbing throughout, a little tricky to read. Gets 11a in the book though I feel it is significantly harder than every other 11a I have done in the Bow Valley. More like an 11b I reckon.

3rd burn today. Is an enjoyable line with not real hard moves, just sustained power endurance which I need to improve on. Obviously!

As good as the other 3 routes IMO.

2nd burn after only closely missing the onsight. Really fun climbing and completely different to Ocean Vista wall with a more distinct crux amid much easier climbing. Good stuff.

Went easily second burn. You can easily get lured into climbing the wrong way (as I did) on your onsight burn. It's nice to climb routes that don't have chalk on them

Powerful crux is a bit of a sandbag at 11a. Nice slab climbing.

Cleaning after Dave's onsight. As good as Ninja Tactics.

Pumped out just after the crux

Heel hook popped off the top out mantle Otherwise had it in the bag. Super fun route.

On-sight attempt. Fell off on the last move. Hidden holds on the other side of the arete, learnt to look everywhere before pushing through haha. Oh the joy's of onsighting! Super fun throughout on a high proud prow, great position! Didn't try again for the red point.

1 attempt - Significantly harder than the other 11b I tried. Got suckered out onto the arete at the crux. Super airy and fun climbing. This will keep you on your toes! Look forward to coming back to it

Couldn't quite keep it together at the top.

Classic, great moves straight off the ground. First time on it so spent a bit of time faffin about sorting the sequences. Definitely doable.

Great pitch of climbing. Not as difficult as I was expecting however good rest is crucial. Will have to come back for the send.

A bit awkward in the corner and a tough finishing move but mostly pleasant.

Quality line, poor footwork let me down on pink point burn.

Climbed through the route to the start of the jug haul on the 2nd burn then simply fell off Guess I will have to go back to claim the send. Enjoyable route

Really great moves, punted off the uppers boulder problem.

Part of 33 pitches for my 33rd birthday. Missed a crucial side pull in the crux and pitched off. Good fun.

A cryptic crux sequence sent me flying.

Sustained! This climb doesn't let up the entire way. Great climbing as well

Definitely steep and powerful. Just taking too long. Really enjoyable climbing
