Ascents as trad by Zack having Distinct route

The standard warm up. Great route for playing with some trad gear. 18 to the first bolt, 17 to the top. Stick clip if this is your grade.

Great route with a little bit of everything, as stated in the guide. Careful on the head wall, though, no bolts and a good 6m or so before any opportunities for gear. A bad ledge fall if you pitch off at that point... Lead it as one pitch with 120cm runners on the traverse and at the ledge to reduce drag (a little).

Great fun with two seconds climbing at their limit. Ended up with Gorty prussiking back up the rope out of the traverse and Jazz running entirely out of juice at the lip of pitch 3 resulting in a retreat from the last move. My third time on the route and unless we always manage to go off route I fail to see how pitch 3 is a grade 14 - where does the route go?!?!?

Off the ground on Animal and hand traverse back around to arête. There's a spot for a no.1 wire on traverse, to protect from a ground fall - if that kind of thing bothers you. Fun climb.

The best of the Piddington 18's IMO. Deep breath and run the off width out without looking down! Awesome fun!
