Ascents by Megan Ellis having Sport CPR

Really impressed that I manage to complete all the moves in isolation, but definitely couldn't link them. Had to deadpoint a few moves, not sure I'd have that kind of confidence on lead! Fun climb though, glad I gave it a go, didn't think I'd even get to the top dogging it.

Gave it a go on toppy to try the moves, bottom half felt pretty cruisy. Great moves on great holds, but pretty pumpy and rather reachy in places. Deadpoint move is pretty low percentage, but move is definitely possible for me. Top is super scary and not sure I've perfected my beta enough to try on lead... yet.

Didn't particularly enjoy this one, but I can see how it could be enjoyed by some, haha! Bit of an adventure, pretty powerful and tricky start, eases a little in the middle. Then, the top almost felt impossible for me, pretty bare at the top!

First 21! Short and sweet, nice techy slab climb. Thanks for the beta Jordan Edwards!

Started the day super nervy. Jumped on top rope on first go, got super pumped below anchors and hand stopped functioning, rest of climb felt pretty cruisy though.

Mustered up the courage to lead, made a pre-send decision with Caz to skip 2nd to last draw. Definitely the right decision! Stoked that I sent it, but jeez it was close, thanks to everyone who helped me compose myself for last 2 clips!!

Pumpy McPump

Climbed the first half clean, struggled pushing through crux on tiny sharp crimp, then cruised through top half.

Great climb! Really keeps you engaged, hand holds become a bit sparse at the crux, but feet are pretty solid. Stayed super tight and slowly moved to better holds. Surprisingly pumpy!

Fun, varied climb, slabby first half, then steepens in the second, jugs galore at the top, but jeez you get pumped.

First 20 flash, finally! Such a fun climb, spicy start and finish with a great rest in between! Really happy with the flash on this one.

So happy I gave this a go, but jeez that was tricky, even on top rope. Required some very high feet and committing moves. I think Jordan may have slightly hoisted me up on the crux at the fourth bolt, but gave it a good shot after this and did the second pitch clean. First 24 I've ever jumped on and couldn't pick a better spot!

Super grippy slabby rock on first pitch, with some nice moves around the bulges. Second pitch has a very defined and fun crux, almost fell but managed to push through it!

Felt pretty easy for a 19! First 2/3rd's was pretty similar to Awake to Shake, so more like a 17. Moving through the groove was a bit more exciting, grabbed the horn and wedged myself in the groove. Enjoyed the top 1/3, but not sure they were 19 moves, maybe 18?

Really enjoyed this climb! Might have a good chance on lead next time. Moves felt good and holds are pretty positive, just need to get pump under control.

Not sure I could get this clean, as the pump builds so quickly. So much fun though, holds are pretty positive most of the way, if you manage to find the right ones!

Another pumpy climb, found this harder than Honour and Obey, as the holds didn't feel as positive and pretty powerful move in the middle.

Fun climb with cruxy start, cave rest with flowy finish on bomber holds.

Tricky techy moves at the start to blind hold near 2nd draw, then pretty cruisy to the top.

Found this route substantially harder than White Noise, holds weren't as obvious, making the route harder to read. Fell at crux, but managed to work through it in the end.

Another fun, sustained, juggy, yet pumpy climb. Overall an awesome day of climbing!

Lost the flash as I tried pulling on shitty hold at start and lost some skin, changed beta and sent it.

Took me a while to figure out a beta that worked for me, but it paid off! Pretty powerful moves in the middle. Easier finish to the top. Happy I got this, need to send it on lead next time!

Initially tried on lead, but felt super insecure bridging the weird groove at the start, so retried on top rope. Crux felt pretty awkward, high foot to blind reach over the bulge.

Thought I might have a good chance on this one, oh boy, I was wrong, so many glossy slopers!

Sequence didn't flow very well. Holds were super slopey and not particularly positive.

Pretty thin at the start, definitely felt more technical than the other climbs I tried that day.

Nice warm up, steeper than it appears, actually felt a bit pumped at the top.

First pitch was disgusting, impressed Jordan onsighted this, second pitch was still pretty hard for me, but definitely more enjoyable.

Pretty beta intensive climb, crimpy pumpy start with lots of high feet and tricky to work out crux at the top. Managed to work it after a few falls.

Awesome climb! Pretty easy to read route, but super pumpy. Fell on the crux, then took a second fall after hold broke off in hand. Would love to lead next time!

Struggled to work through crux, had to make some reachy moves.

First half really chossy, then struggled to find any holds on arete. Didn't enjoy the style of climbing and decided to come down to save skin.

Warm up

Top roped and worked the moves, originally thought I had no chance trying to lead it. Had another attempt to get it clean, then fell on last move, but rest of it felt super smooth.

Couple of tries on lead, but fell on last move...again, sad times. Had no beans left, but definitely got it next time!

Made a silly mistake above third draw and slipped off. Sent it eventually!
