I have dabbled here and there with crack climbing, the bluies doesn't offer much and there is often a face feature to sneak out on for the unseasoned crack climber to hide out. This climb was relentless jamming from start to finish. The hands at the bottom started to flow for me and I had a brief moment of the fluid dance that is crack climbing. The crack then widened out and consumed me. Jamming with my knees and shoulder, max compression force to gain a measly 5cm at a time. Ive never tried so hard to move so little... On top rope, with aid, still took an hour to top out. 10/10 would recommend and can't wait to try again.

Would be keen to lead this didnt feel to hard but may have suited my style more

End of day send. Felt really good. Starting to trust my gear and jams. Got through the crux and placed a quick careless totem that almost immediately fell out. Pretty run out at that point but managed to chill Out and mantle the sloppers to top What a climb

Ok maybe i don't hate crack climbing but I hate myself more for saying this...

dogged my way up to get rope up, spat off at 0.75 zig zag section but liked the top. Such a cool climb

would be a different experience placing gear but super fun moves and starting to get 0.5s & 0.75s (finally)

my goal was to get to the top given my last attempt. Now to ova up and plug the gear. Its all doable and gear is good....must trust my cams. very cool to watch Abi go up and rest and chill out at the spots I found most taxing.

Such a fun day out climbing with Jon and catching up. Cool breeze with the sun up some slab. To the right was a party taking out a brand new climber, to the left two 80 year old trad dads cruising up in their approach shoes. Must spend more time here.

Got super stumped at the crux on lead and spun around trying to figure out the moves. On second tried again with a spanned out right foot that dropped me into an insecure side plank palm press, if anything blew would have broke my nose on the rock. friction slab goodness

bigger gear (3s) good for top. Getting better at hand jams

Should have probably learned crack climbing technique prior to this as yelling down " how do you crack climb" 25m up did not feel like the beta

Full sun at this point so extra grade to max. 30 degree heat happy to clean and get going. Lots of cool moves in small section

Not enough six's to safely lead this but damn I love offwidths! one sit cause tired but awesome movement. Agree with the sentiment "The brutality of offwidth climbing disguises the craft" Bob Scarpelli

Cracking climbing next to a waterfall…not bad. Crazy good line and I won the coin toss and got to lead the money pitches

what an epic! pumped out on thin hands and baggy fingers, couldnt see gear at the top and got a head torch passed up. Getting really good at aid climbing

Mixed cause of the single bolt at the bottom! Went for the pink point and took the most hectic whipper of my life coming over the lip. Had tick jitters and sloppy feet from the excitement going through roof. Went for it again but my adrenaline was full on. Opted to second, go to pub and get out of the heat.

Hard but awesome. Really neat moves but glad I was on top rope not placing gear this this one!

Honestly one of my fave climbs ever! Take big gear though...like 3s and maybe even a four or two. I ended up running it out like crazy but felt confident with the moves. Awesome

First go placing gear. Rad climb. Nice places to run it out and nice places to place gear. Small cams for the top
