Ascents of Golden Streak

Have made quite some progress. Need to work out what to do with my left foot when higher up, and which hold to throw to with my left hand.

Good fun

Took a few attempts to learn beta and feel comfortable with the fall but was a cool problem with powerful moves. Felt like my first ‘real’ boulder problem.

It was a cool moment when Simon Mentz came and beta-sprayed us. I still couldnt get it so was very annoyed.

I was a bit disappointed to get so shut down by this classic. The stories I had heard of the sliminess of this boulder were not exaggerated. One to come back to on a cool breezy day

Nice to repeat this one. Still slippery fun

Stuck the crux moves but bailed off the top out after not finding holds I was comfortable with. Had a suss of the holds from top of the boulder but was then too gassed to send it. Nice to make progress and feel comfortable through the starting moves.

Greasy and polished but still classic nonetheless

Actually warmed up for once and got it first go. Got shown a new move to skip the compression moves which I worked for the rest of the sesh. Good fun!

Gem

Finally did it after years of trying it on and off. Admittedly it's the firs time I tried it with a crash pad and no prior climbing that day.

Repeat in Tx4 mids, a personal tick list of mine.
