First shot hanging the draws in the first half for grace. Second shot came off at the crux moves above the 3rd bolt. Third shot linked the route on Grace's gear for the top section. Challenging thin climbing in the bottom half to a great rest at halfway, where you can build an absolute nest of cams, to easier climbing above.

Took a nice gear fall on the roof! This route is iconic for a reason! I am sure if this was not a final day climb I would have had enough energy to pull over the top.

The logical and best finish to a very enjoyable wall. Came off on the last move then climbed to top 2nd go. Holds get smaller until they all but disappear for the cruxy exit.

Seconded The Cliffmeister up this. Did it clean. Got two left fingers JUST on at the end hard move, almost came off but Cliff shouting ‘Stick it! Stick it!’ helped me keep on and finish it. Cool cool ending to the fiddoddle which is the lower half.

No idea what the difference between this and one day hero is to be honest. The grade probably sits at 22/23 for whatever line it is. Very sustained and pumpy. Threw a rope down from Kachoong, for a lap. Just managed to hold it together, but would be hard on lead.

we all hopped on birthday boy's project. i dogged it on the overhang and had to ascend a couple metres to get back on. would be good to try it with preplaced gear next time, after i figure out the heel hooks and get over the exposure.

Seconding Jenga -not clean. The grade and quality of this route is contingent on how contrived you make it -which probably also reflects the range of opinions on the grade. The route as "officially described" is utterly nails at the grade, and super-duper contrived (essentially tackling the line of most resistance). If you do the crux traverse 50cm lower, this is about grade 21, and makes more logicical sense. Needless to say, I fell off the last crux move of the super-contrived version

Not a good warmup I flashed pumped on the last move of the traverse on my onsight, took the whip, and broke my cam 2nd shot was a cruiiiiiiiise and just super fun. More intimidating than Kachoong, and more technical for a steep climb, but not much harde grade-wise.

Beautiful experience route reading with such freedom over a huge rock face. Found a nice rhythm and executed the balancy moves near the top with confidence and joy.

Fantastic line! Perhaps a bit soft for an Arapiles 14, which is to say it's not sandbagged! Spoiler (gear beta) The initial diagonal traverse to gain the line protects reasonably well with a yellow WC micro cam

We did the climb as two pitches combining pitch 1 & 2. Went through the bottom less chimney (sandbagged grade 12) instead of taking the easier diversion option. Getting up and into the chimney was the most fun part of the climb. It was well protected the whole way but a lot of vegetation on the last pitch.
