Ascents in Rough Trade Wall

From the ground to the hand traverse before the final crux. Should probably start leading it now. Still haven't figured out that last move though

All the moves except the very top but got super close. Epic line

Cleaned my gear off. This line is stunning however I need to work on a few things before getting back in it.

Had 2x goes on this, really fun 2nd go and figured out good crux beta.

Linked all the easy sections now just the 3 cruxes to go.

Such an adventurous and unlikely route. Definitely lived up to the hype, cannot wait to get back on it!

And my first 28 isn't a 28, but it is a very excellent rock climb! Three red point burns with one excruciating punt, two warm-up/equipping laps, and one exploratory mission a few weeks back. Thanks heaps to the Rock Gods for creating a route that was so perfectly suited to my interests and stylistic aptitudes, and Paul Frothy Thomson for leaving your gear on and cultivating the psyche! One day i will climb something hardish that is fully bolted...

Man oh man. Should have gone but I punted off a relatively easy move just after the no hands rest and then went straight to the top. Silly boy! Even though this route suits me quite perfectly, I don't think it is 28. (3)

3 days of effort. Fell off after the hardest move at the top at the end of my 1st day, then spent ages never making the same highpoint. Awesome, wandery, run-out climbing, with a decidedly traddy-vibe despite being a sport route. 7 Bolts in 35m is exciting, though. Probably not hard at the grade even without tape gloves or jammies, though this route does suit me fairly perfectly.

Real fkn good! This route was made for me by the rock gods. Paul nearly accidentally sent it as the sun set and the wall lit up with the most amazing glow. It was seriously surreal. Keen as a bean.

Really good! Completely my style: long, wandery, very spaced bolts, lots of traddy moves. I'll probably bring some supplemental gear next time for a few sections. Very doable, I just need to get back to this before it gets too hot.
