Description

6m high ball, decent potential hard route, current project

Approach

Jump the barbed wire fence at the end of the Crystal Cascades concrete walk way, or walk around it (river side). Head up steep drive to where road kinks left. A massive boulder covered by a fig tree is just here with a path from the road down to the boulder on its left hand side. Take a few pads. Is a HIGH BALL

Ethic inherited from Crystal Cascades Redlynch Valley

Grade Route

Gnarly decent hold filled high ball, decent spotter required due to nature of fall. Flat ground below. Start off ground on semi decent ledge. Follow from ledge with far left hand back and right hand in sidepulling undercling, lower to left hand and move out to right jug. Feet become necessary, fill ground with pads as you can swing from this move. Follow line on corner with some gaston and crossing moves to far left corner, working to top where tree rests on rock. Can set a rope up on fig tree on top to test holds and clean plus climb without committment
