History

History timeline chart

Being admired by 100s of people daily, this boulderable cliff line is customarily covered in tourists snapping photos or couples making out. This all changed in early 2013 went it was coveted for its bouldering by Ranger Dave. Initially written off as far flung problems to be tried another day, he revisited it in April after fellow developer "The Heel" Flanagan too sniffed around Lady Macquaries Chair. This started a bouldering frenze, with many project routes set.

This crag is a product of the great bouldering boom!

Jump up to match hands on the left most ledge of the solid face. Campus up to the good face holds and then move up the left arete being mindful of the chossy sandstone under your left hand. At the checkered face the grade does drop to more of a high V1, but the height, gasping Asian tourists and the pump keeps "this is Australia" a satisfying V3

Committing campus start, Amazing backdrop, plenty of room for crash mats and the undivided attention of tourists makes this a classic must do boulder problem
