The second cliff south of The Promised Land.

Access issues inherited from North Grampians

This area is now reopen after the fires in early 2014.

If there are crag specific closures, please update the access on those crags.


Take the track 900m south of the Mt Difficult Plantation west (as for Lunar Walls) to where it meets the nor th/south track. From the intersection, walk up and left for 15 minutes to the cliff. Descend at right end.

Grade Route

At the left end of the cliff there is a section high up with a couple of square cut corners and walls (most visible as you walk up to the cliff). Below these is an orange roof line above slabby rock. Start be low the lowest part of these roofs.

  1. 40m. Easy line on left then up slab to the roof, follow roof line up and left to ledge, left on this to tree.

  2. 10m (crux) Step left to thin crack, up.

  3. 10m. Arête behind tree at back of ledge, finishing rightward.

Huge right facing corner below ceiling near right end of cliff.

  1. 15m (crux) Up easy blocks, then short wall to ledge at foot of corner.

  2. 25m Corner to just below roof. Traverse right.
