Quality and five minutes from work, will be back to do more. My first V4 but I understand this might not remain a V4.

Short and sweet. Midway sloper leads to great pockets.

Finally sent that green sloper route in the overhanging section

Fun little number. Bring slings for the anchor.

Very pumpy route, with a lot of the feet lost to the wilds now.

SDS was very hard for me (6ft tall)

Green 23 on the overhanging section. Most definitely will go and brush the slopers in the crux section before I attempt this again, just didn't quite have enough friction for the way I attempted it. I cut the feet entirely but there wasn't quite enough friction to hold it

Blue climb on the slab with the really large blue volume hold in the middle of the route. I tried this just after it was set but in the interim I've worked a lot on getting stronger with pinches so this felt a LOT easier this time around.

Yellow holds in overhanging section. My first lead climb at Hardrock in the CBD and also my first onsight when leading.

Purple climb in the section with the overhang, felt soft for the grade but maybe only because I'm tall

New Orange 19 near the crack feature. I didn't read the sign properly which said "use features" and thought it said "no features". Sent this without the features but it felt absolutely limit. Not sure how hard this variation of the route is, it might not even be possible for shorter climbers

Excellent fun for the whole family.

Really dirty - we got it on a dry day, but there's usually a lot of water on this line! Which makes for dusty chossy climbing in the dry:) Can't recommend this one as a highball, the top is mostly clay and felt very sketchy.

Not free solo, all highball bouldering this session - can't recommend the taller routes as highballs, the tops are clay and feel very sketchy.

Got the moves last week but didn’t try send because of a dodgy thumb. Came back today and sent without the thumb on first attempt. Definitely feels easier than V5.

All the moves done very easily, feels soft for V5 (I am 6’3” so take that with a very long and skinny grain of salt). The final dunk/reach looks crazy but goes fast. No send as my visit to the phlebotomist was making itself known in the form of a stinging elbow where I had earlier donated blood. Next time! A very pretty boulder that I look forward to taking some indoor friends to as a way to indoctrinate them into going outdoors. (Tarquin got a very clean and graceful send on this with little effort, well done!!)

Easiest V1 of my life, hardest of my brothers. Finally my crack addiction proves beneficial. Didn’t fist jam as I was trying to save some skin for later, some fun thrutchy arm work instead.

Whew! Super fun climb that just feels sick to send. Absolute highlight of the day. Reaching up to that pocket feels great!! Definitely the least graceful but the funniest top out of my career. My technique could be compared to that of a whale humping it’s way up onto the beach (don’t be a scaredy cat and do the heel hook).

The start for this one was a lil tricky to figure out. There were a few sidepulls and a few pockets but we couldn’t find any that ticked both boxes. Nonetheless fun route that isn’t short.

Enjoyable, the start requires some thought.

Bumped into Tim at Bushies at araps a while ago (who has done a really good job developing this spot!) and decided we’d take his word for what it’s worth and check out the bouldering here. Really fun outing close to Melbourne, will be back to sample more the climbing but there were definitely some gems that make it worth visiting. The park will apparently be open in September and access will be a lot easier then! This particular boulder wasn’t a gem, but it was part of a block with decent routes all over.
