Ascents in Double Dozen Area

In the rain, top 3rd of the crack was very wet, made for a good challenge had to work for it

Cruisy and a bit awkward.

What a great little climb. Pumped out 2/3rds up on the onsight. Went easy next go on the top rope but didn’t have enough light for the next lead burn. Next try!

Been wanting to do this one for a while, so I'm glad it went down after a long hiatus from climbing.

First time on lead on this climb - so fun!

Surprisingly good climbing. Nice to do with long pants on.

Awesome route. Did a silly and put myself in a precarious position trying to get the second piece in, with the crowds gathering to watch me deck. Much to their disappointment, I sagged onto my hurriedly placed nut, lowered to the ground, then went up again with a micro cam to add to it, and then launched up to victory. Disappointed I couldn't make it an onsight, but so it goes. Packs a sweet punch for a short route.

Tried direct for something different..didn’t feel as secure but way better fall line

Clean lap. Much better. Make sure you get good gear in before leaving the nob

Dubious tactics, but I like my ankles. Pre-placed a couple of nuts in the initial seam from RH corner before back down to start direct. Fell off anyway, and had a nice gentle ground massaging bungee

Clean first try on this but used the right wall to get established, and after a second razz (and re-reading the name) realising it’s obviously out. Very nice!

Super fun! Funky feet, used the R hand wall at the start for a stance but direct is the go.

18s feeling trickier in tas but also currently have terrible crack technique

Sweet moves and some very hard to use holds. Originally given 27. It feels harder than all of the 26s in the gorge.

Loved the movement. Would be a lot harder if placing gear, but great climbing!

Excellent climb

Checked out Tom's new route while he still had a rope up. Sharp and awkward in sections with some nice stemming and jamming moves.

Warmup to get the rope up. Felt better than expected
