Ascents of Roast Lobster Mornay

Insanely good rock! Totally awesome moves. Made all the moves with relative ease on the first burn, went and played on some other climbs then came back and couldn’t pull on bahah. Roof climbing kills ya!!

Did all the moves out to the dyno, with a few rests and head scratching, had one go at the move.

Three laps , all the moves done just need to refine some foot work and keep at it!! What an epic climb

Decided to have a crack for the hell of it, surprisingly managed to get through it bit by bit. Hopefully this awesome cave can stay open, would be keen to project it.

Classic big roof with a long intricate crux on perfect rock. Whaling over the top dragging a fat rope you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy!

Just a quick little play on the moves above the roof flake. The roof itself was very wet but the moves up to the dyno we're dry and felt good. Top was running with water.

One step forwards two steps back. Good news; the mid sections to the Tetradactyl Dyno much more fluid now; the 23 hardly gives any pump anymore. Having projects on roofs mean that if you fall with slack out you won't be able to get back up which make me hesitant to clip off the gastons... Need to just man up and do it without hesitation. This is the Junkyard Dog Extension of the Central Coast. Thanks to whomever left the draws on the roof. Helped a lot!

x2. First time making it out to the bottom anchors; second time realising there are two more U Bolts to go to topout; boldly set out on a mission the second time. I ended up ripping a lot of rock from the crumbly topout roof. My verdict; A classic up to the bottom anchors; the topout is not worth it unless you're after the full tick. Am I going to get this clean? Well... Call the pope, as at 3 consecutive miracles through the route I will be surely pronounced a saint.

Hard! Still a good way away from finishing this. Fell with a lot of slack so came straight down!
