Routes in Sydney Metropolitan for selected grade

Layback, Stemming, a few finger locks and a fist jamb finished off with a cool view from the top. The corner crack system right of IHP. Good gear but a little damp deep in the crack.

Avoid the Red Light District by climbing the wall to the right on good edges and breaks. Cams in breaks or corner crack.

Start just right of the 'Barrelling section' of rock. Move up leftwards mantling the overhangs to finish just right of the Ladder.

Start: 4m right of 'Ladder of Death'

Up LH ramp or take direct start. Pass rock hollow and up to chicken head. Mantel platform above. Take a few slings and get creative. DUB Lower off.

Up orange wall with plenty of rests

Cool trad line follows crack 2m Left on MT. Easy Climbing to face then bomber #2 protects the crux then use fixed gear to lower off and clean. Add a grade if you’re shorter. Might be historical but it’s anyone’s guess

Plenty of good protection - med/large cams and nut placements in the top half.

Start: 2m right of DG, the crack.

There is often a python (Kenneth) hanging around.

Up wall as for PH past RB then tend right up shallow corner/ crack. Can be dirty at top.

Up left side of shorter wall, 2m right of cave. 2RB's to lower offs.

Start: 4m R of KAMU

Left side of wall, move right at top to shared anchors with 5sob

Up face just left of orange face to anchors above bulge.

Up right of orange streak on black face tending steeply left to anchors

2m right of Lactose Free, up juggy wall.

Start: 2m right of Scorpion. Slab to short steep headwall. Clipping the rings is rather hard for a 14.

Wide Flared Crack. mmmm, sounds great !

Up short slab though flakes with mantle to anchors.

Start as for Ficus, but step left and then head up wall, finishing just left of the small tree on double rings

Up crack stepping right onto face at 3rd bolt and up.

Start: 1m rt of crack up arete

A very short boulder (not a?) problem. Up over the overlap of the small boulder leaning against The Fin.

Start 2m left of Grotty Yachty, trending slightly right.

Up the gentle ripples in the rock

Start 2m left of Champagne Sailing and up through the cave.

Follow the line of largish holds up the back of the chimney to the top. Bad landing.

Up the arete. Pleasant airy easy climbing. Makes a good down climb.

The center of the rock has a fun easy, but maybe daunting to old farts like me, roof pull.

Start on right side of arete. Up wall, on to slab, Friend placement, plus manky bolt, climbing RHS of arete

Corner at right side of smooth wall. Up the pleasant crack to DBB

Start: Marked BTH. Left side of little wall

Dirty (now) wide corner crack, originally solo.

The route right of HSBA via three rusty carrots navigating your way through the branches of the fig tree growing over the rock.

The right most route on the slab, before the cave on the right hand side facing the toilet block. Three rusty carrot bolts then up the arete and over the figtree.

Up horizontal breaks on face to the right of Bah's Crack. Great moves. Belay off big tree next to railings.

Corner and arete 4m L of 4moves3bolts

climb wobbly tree and then finish up one of the routes above Tarmac Traverse.

The tricky looking Chimney

Start: Starts at the crack 0.5m left of 'Andrew's Bulge'.

Start 1.5m left of Whippersnapper in the squeeze, straight up wall to last bolt of Nana in the dark and on to anchors.

Start as for Grandma's Wheelchair, but straight up.

Far right side of crag. Clip useless FH at waist then step off ground and up thin left facing flake.

Start on starting hold for Backwards T-shirt, continue right onto right hand face of boulder and make your way to the top

At crack 1m right of SZ (behind the Gymea Lilly) below right end of high section.

Hard moves up crack to finish on ledge (old carrot and good cams). Please don't trash the Lilly.

Up the dirty crack

left of F, Straight up past bolt and cam

two meters right of corner. Straight up

Start: left of M.D.

Directly up to horizontal break on B.F

Behind the big tree, bridge your way up between Love Machine and Express.

Start just right of Zimmer crack and follow good break right and around the arete to finish up Thong Ridge. Good protection.

Just left of arête. Like the name says: two feet and you're up.

Start in the bottom of the little flared crack and go up diagonally left under tree branch.

Mantle up the slab

Straight up the wall left of the corner.

Straight up the slab next to the arete.

Up the crack.

Up the jugs.

Start on the big ledge and go up over the prow.

From the break just to the right of the highest point

Classic prow

Easy up the short buggy slab to the left of the big two trees on the way to the caves

The 'Frankenstein' arete taken on the left-hand side. There is a bolt with a fixed hanger at the top of this boulder.

Juggy fun right of the cave.

Up left sided flake , onto face to anchors. Note anchors setback a bit so if precious with rope rap off.

Start on the left side of the the small wall. Squeeze past tree up the orange arete on way to summit jugs.

Straight up middle of wall to shared anchors.

Same start as for LLBQ, moving right following three bolts to shared anhcors

Same start as BC, left at shared 1st bolt and then straight up.

Up initial crack stepping right onto slab and up.

The obvious (3rd up) horizontal break across almost the entire cliff.

Start: Up 'A Momentary Lapse of Sanity'

1. 5m Left to semi-hanging belay from lower-offs of Flaked.

2. 25m Continue traversing left along break with excellent natural pro and finish up to belay at Banksia.

Follow the crack left of Galston High to belay off the tree. Good gear the whole way on solid rock. Worth taking a couple of bd 4’s.

Start at bottom left edge of the large flake beside Mud Slice and follow the edge of the flake up and right to lower offs.

Straight up featured wall, 3RB's, walk off

Start: In access gully.

Up short orange face to jugs, 3Rbs to lower offs.

Start: Shared start to TPOG, tending right at first bolt

A good climb up the prominent flake in middle of wall. 3 U's to lower offs.

Trad crack on the right side of the crag.

Up middle via jugs.
