Heading down to the underground is like going back in time with beautiful views, the crag offers some of the best non cave climbing at Elanora.Old school starts with exciting climbing makes the underground a great day out.
Take care at the the base of climbs as there is a 10m drop off, and please try to pee away from the belay ledge.
Access is clear, however please be respectful of residence as there are houses on top of cliff line. Please stay away from the top of the cliff and when cleaning routes try to refrain from shouting loudly.
Walk past The Heist wall, through the A frame rock cave and turn right following the path until you reach the thin rope funnelling you down to the cliffs edge.
Climb down rungs and follow track to white rope tied to a small gum tree, either go down the cave (tight squeeze) or follow the rope around it following the rungs.
From here you can either go the long/safe way around which is left (facing out) and follow the track down and back right.
Otherwise you simply walk around the tree at the base of the final rungs and head down a slippy rock inside a cave, hugging the line rock shelf.
From here both paths follow the well defined path all the way to the base of the cliff.
Please don't move boulders or vegetation that aren't directly on a route, leave no trace and take out what ever you bring in.
Try to take care of business before entering the crag and if you must poop please dig a hole as this is on the edge of a National Park.
Did you know that you can create an account to record, track and share your climbing ascents? Thousands of climbers are already doing this.
