Access issues inherited from Toohey Forest

'Toohey Forest' is owned by the Brisbane City Council. It's an important habitat for 400 plants and animals, and is very popular with walkers, joggers and picnicking families. Therefore the usual rules of taking out your rubbish, keeping noise to a minimum, cleaning any chalk marks and so on are particularly important here if climbing is to remain an acceptable activity in the eyes of the community.

Just downhill from the 'Rooflet Boulder' and 'Boulder IV'.

Easy start and then find holds to L to get over the bulge.

Start standing with hands on sloper and crimp, swing up a heel and mantle

FA: Dan G, 10 May 2012

Sit start under roof, with tricky side pull to mantle.

Start with hand on ledge and L up into undercling, feet up for reach to remains of prominent R hold (broken off was V2). Use the rail to the L to get L hand to large sidepull and straight up.

See that horizontal human bodywidth sized slot to the right of Smeegle that opens up into the cave? You know what to do. Squeeeeze! Inside to outside is easier.

FA: Philip Ly

Starts at the little cave on the undercling, then traverse out left till you run out of holds, then straight up to a very hard topout. Has not been ascented yet, get on it!

Start with L hand on undercling and R hand on small hold. Throw to large R side pull around arête. Throw L to slopers or small jug, a knee bar can be utilised. Get feet up over bulge without touching boulder to the R and top out. NOTE: R side-pull has been broken off, April 2020.
