Collection of alright climbs on the right side of the road

Access issues inherited from The You Yangs

January 2020 - Great Circle Drive is now open again.

National Park. Parks Vic website (Oct 2014) says "[...] Bookings are required for groups. Individuals are not required to book, but should check with the Park Office to enquire about the availability of sites. [...]"

Approach

Park on the right side of the road just before the boulder tops visible on the right, or park at Turntable Drive Carpark and backtrack 350m looking for the boulder tops on your left.

Ethic inherited from The You Yangs

Mixed climbing with trad and some sports options, as well as bouldering. Bring hangar plates, as many climbs are equipped with carrot bolts.

Up the left of the slab on flake and thin seam. Carefully top out between slightly chossy bulges.

Easy scramble up obvious weakness

Bit of an eliminate, and all the better for it. Straight up, using face holds only. No arete. Gain ledge, balancy mantle, then carefully to summit. Not too hard, but gets a point for severity at the top
