Approach

Park as soon as the Ridge Rd East boulders are visible. Head off a short distance in a SW direction and this free standing block should be soon visible.

History

In 2003, Martin Lama decided to wander away from the existing blocks hoping to find more worthwhile boulders and discovered this block. He immediately called everyone over and the crew got to work.

Balance over ledge to slopey topout. Also the descent

West face of the boulder. Thin vertical face

SDS Not sure if still a project or has been sent since 2003

Stand start with undercling and right arete. Sloping topout

SDS blocky jug and scoop above.

Thin arete.

Good sidepull to arete above with the R. Large span out L to undercling and then top.

Sit start into undercut and big move

Extreme lowball. Sit start. Slap to the pinch and mantel. Rocks to the right of pedestal start are out.

A V2 eliminate can be done without crimps at the top.

First ascent claimed on grounds that a number of loose flakes and jugs were removed by hand, plus, who really attempts lowballs!?! Feel free to correct if you know otherwise.
