formidable roof climb, will be a quality testpiece when it goes. Start deep in the entrance cave and slap through intricate moves to gain lip. Top out on slippery, sloping crimps over a bad landing.

Set by Ryan Gaskon

Stellar line! Unfortunately the very bad landing has thus far put off every potential ascent. Up 'Whirlpool Traverse' to gain the break, but keep going straight up through glorious hand crack to very comitting top out

Stand start on southern face, up through slippery holds to gain break at 2m. traverse left below roof on slippery holds with terrible feet. move around corner to gain slab and top out easily

FA: Ryan Gaskon, 2019

The exact line isn't known, but Gosh reckons there's another line through the roof somewhere to the left of 'Whirlpool Direct'. Whatever line there is will be very scary and very committing

the line below Whirlpool Traverse. Sit start on jug, then up and L through good holds with awkward feet, around corner then up slab to top out as for WT

so named because no matter how hard you try, you never seem to be able to escape it. stand start matched on good hole, up through slots then have fun finding the holds needed to top out!
