smaller block at the foot of the Marienwand. The topmost anchor is set into a large shifting block, which seems to stay in place, though. If in doubt, use the lower anchor for the southern routes.

Access issues inherited from Okertal

The Okertal is a nature protection area (Landschaftsschutzgebiet). Parts are Natura2000 area and some cliffs may be closed from February to July due to nesting falcons.
