Egyptian Crag lies about 200 yd. left of the South Picnic Tree at the foot of the hill beyond Archway Crag. The crag is plagued by hornets and there are several bees' nests. No climb can be considered completely safe from attack, but the left-hand end is better than the right. The obvious vertical crack between Scarab and Sweet Fanny Adams has only been climbed as far as the hanging block on the right on account of a bees' nest just above.
