About twelve separate crags are spread over the south base of Samseong-san 삼성산. Byeongpung-bawi BAC has nineteen routes that require finger strength and balance. BAC stands for the name of the club that developed this crag.


From Gwanak Subway Station (Line #1), take Exit 2 and walk through the underground pass across the main road to reach the bus stop. Take Bus 6-2 or 20. Get off at either Gyeongingyodae 경인교대 or Anyanghaesol School 안양해솔학교. At the Anyanghaesol School, walk past the iron fence and to the drainage tunnel. Follow the tunnel as it winds around the highway. Once you reach the end of the tunnel, you will see a ribbon, which marks the trailhead for BAC. Follow the trail to the left for ve minutes. You will reach a mountain spring. 50m north from the spring you will see BAC.

Descent notes

Gear 8 draws and a 50m rope. Additional Comments Water and snacks should be bought beforehand. According to local climbers, there are more than a dozen crags scattered on this mountain. You may possibly encounter one of the crags not described here when you walk along the trails.
