Description

One more world class sector of Margalef. The north faced wall of Raco De La Finestra hosts a bunch of hight end sport climbs and 'Perfecto Mundo' (9b+) is currently the hardest route in Margalef.

The chance to meet some elite climbers is very high here but also for the common climbers this manifold sector offers superb climbs - especially on the left or right side of the cliff where you could also find some sun at the morning or in the evening.

Approach

Park here (41.276612, 0.769320) and a steep but short walk will take you to the cliff in 5 minutes. You can see the sector already from the parking lot.

Grade Route

Not your average Margalef climb. the start is a bit nasty which makes it a less than ideal warm up unless you are way above the grade.

The route is 45-degrees overhanging with a boulder problem to pull over into the final slab. 25 moves of 8c+ to reach a poor rest. Then 10 moves to reach the crux: a jump from a mono to a big pinch. Afterwards endurance 8b+ with few rests. Yellow rock at the bottom that goes to white and at the top it is grey.
