According to the document "Boletin 2008 Asocoación Benéfico Cultural Nieva de Cameros" (https://issuu.com/asociacionnievadecameros/docs/2008/86) this crag is the oldest in Rioja. In the 1960s and 1970s, several climbers, including Enrique Romancxs, Julio Pérez Clavijo and Francisco Claro Izagirre, documented the first routes. In 1978, the first guidebook with freehand sketches of the existing routes was published. This was revised in 1985 and supplemented with new routes. Later, more new routes were documented in the guide "Escalada en La Rioja" by Ángel Juste and Iñaki Erdozain. In the meantime, the Crag has lost many followers and is no longer climbed so often.
