Ascents in Big Wall

Vía muy interesante, se nos hizo más complicado el último largo en las últimas chapas en la sección final de placa (no se si la hicimos correctamente ya que para mi ese último largo correspondería más bien con un grado de 6a o 6a+). Al llegar a la última reunión sólo encontramos una chapa oxigada, así que no rapelamos y bajamos andando.

Buenísima roca, vía de continuidad, la bavaresa final es intensa pero sale bien.

Nice climb we did to practice multi-pitch technique just after taking a course. We actually went to the wrong second anchor and ended up doing 4 pitches. The second anchor is a bit hidden to the right of a roof, we saw an anchor to the left and went for it but this was the anchor of a different route.

A decent route with some interesting moves in the last couple pitches. Warning: take great care if you decide to abseil descend. The top anchor isn't very suitable for abseiling and creates too much friction on the rock, our rope got stuck and we had climb back up to fetch it. On the second abseil there is a huge piece of rock (like half a ton huge!) which is semi loose on the rock face. I touched it with my foot on the way down and it wobbled (way too much!). It will break off one day for sure and could kill someone down below. Might be a better idea to walk off

On a sunny day with Luis. First pitch with good holds and feet and one airy section that I thought was not a 5 anymore.

Second pitch starts with strange crumbly looking rock and quite some vegetation. On the upper half better and with some good moves, though one section quite hard for 6a.

For the third pitch we went for the finish through the crack which was the most fun of the 3 pitches. Short but worthwhile pitch. Great 360* views from top.

Fully bolted, no need for friends or nuts. Although, the bolt distances feel a bit large at times. All in all, each pitch felt a half grade harder than the given grade.

Near the end of P2, the route trends right. My partner went straight and found an anchor on the left under a steep wall and a roof. The pitch above has 2 variations and feel like 7+. Local guide labeled it "no name".
