Description

Some interesting climbs on very polished rock. Only partly rebolted with titanium. Do not climb on routes with old expansion bolts!

Approach

Go to Phra Nang beach and follow the beach right to the end. Then take a small trail to the right up the into the jungle. Scramble up for about 10m to reach the center part of the crag.

Alternatively, access from 'Thaiwand Wall' through the big cave connecting the two sides of the karst tower. Enter the cave by climbing 'Twenty Kilos of Steel'. Follow the bamboo ladders down the cave rooms to the other side. Take the exit to the right and fond another bamboo ladder down to the ground. You end up left of 'Best Route in Minnesota'. Bring a headlamp!

A climbing guide mentioned there used to be a lot of mosquitoes at that cliff and they called it 'Itchy World'. The name somehow transformed to 'Escher'.
