For my size hands the crux was ring locks which felt hard! Nice route.

Had to fight at the transition to stay in the crack.

Happy to onsight the bottom bouldery start, but messed up the tight hands sections but higher. One fall.

Long and intimidating. Some committing layback sections and a real cruxy roof.

Great time lashing out at this mega adventure corner with phil. Despite very different methods both of us found ourselves 90% up all clean. He built a nest and punched to the top for the send. I also built a nest.. add #1 to the list of sizes i cant climb at the creek. Scarface is the superior crag. I had 2 burns at comic relief (project!?); a series of tiered finger crack rooflets going at 5.12-. Fell 4 moves off the victory hand pod on the OS and 1 move off on burn 2 for a good clean gear whipper. Agonizingly close to the first legitimate 12er of the trip. Music and wax box campfire at camp was lovely if not a little hazardous with a concurrent wind storm.

Couldn't pull the first roof - the finger jams were good, but this was my fifth day climbing in a row (and the last climb of my trip) and I was absolutely wrecked. Even fresh, I probably still couldn't have TR'd this clean, let alone led it. Maybe one day!

Tried and flailed. I really need to work on .75s and tight #1s. This feels like a route I could lead soon, but not quite yet.

My first attempt at real off-width climbing. Hard!! Made it to the chains on TR, but I was bleeding from several places by the end (a sign of my poor technique).

Tried to lead but got stuck when it got bigger than my fists near the top - one of my first ever attempts at wide-ish climbing. Lowered, had Charles lead it, and then TR'd. Charles climbed almost the whole thing like a chimney, barely jamming the crack, and cruised it.
