New to climbing in Ontario
Hey all, glad to see this awesome site! Avid overseas climber a couple decades ago. First time climbing here. Want to take the kiddos (9 and 11) climbing. Can't lead as they can't belay. Any top-rope suggested areas / routes to start with? We are in Waterloo so I guess Halton/Rattlesnake is one of the best options? Thanks so much!
Dear CarlosH welcome to the theCrag.com. I recommend you to re-post your request on the local forums of Ontario and it's crags. In the mean time you may try the search to filter for routes with toprope access. Happy cragging.
Oops. Thanks Kai, will do.
Hi, I’m going to climb talon chutes, in North Bay, Ontario Canada. Did anyone log any sends for this area? This place is known for cliff jumping into the water. Should be fun. Not sure if I can bolt. I will start with a top rope. Email me if you have suggestions. Cheers
