Summary

The main area is home to good quality climbing on solid ocean weathered granite, with the granite getting a little flakier towards the back beach.

Access issues inherited from Cheynes Beach Boulders

NO CLIMBING IS PERMITTED WEST OF THE WAYCHINICUP INLET BETWEEN THE INLET AND NORMANS BEACH (THE AREA IS WITHIN THE MT MANYPEAKS NATURE RESERVE)

Approach

Take the 4WD track towards back beach. The track gets more difficult after the rocky outcrop. Follow the track down then take a left before back beach. The back beach boulders can be accessed from the first pull-in on the right and taking the trail towards the coast. Alternatively take the track to the end and follow the track right and down from the car park to the main area.

Ethic inherited from Cheynes Beach Boulders

Clean tick marks and caked chalk. Clean up your rubbish. No chipping, gluing or bolting. Keep to the obvious ESTABLISHED trails and do not bash new trails.
