Description

Tucked away on the edge of the forest, this boulder remains mostly shady.

Access issues inherited from Cairns

Be wary at any coastal or riverside crags for the potential of crocodiles and if you're in the water marine stingers.

Approach

Option 1: Park at Evac Point 2 as for Mr T Boulder approach (where River Acess sign is). Follow steps to river, then follow river downstream for about 200m.

Option 2: Park at Roadside Attraction and walk down rocky drain to river, then walk upstream for about 50m or so.

Boulder is just in the tree line.

Brush holds. Respect veg as much as possible, wildlife and rock.

Sit start under the overhung arete. Move up arete with sloping holds on L face. Finish directly up or alternatively make a big move out R and top out.

Start low on the left arete, with left hand on the thumb catch hold and right hand just above. Work your way up through good slopey pinches.

Crouch start on low holds in middle of river side face. Head up, trending L along slopey edges.
