Access issues inherited from New South Wales and ACT

If you have benefited from climbing infrastructure in NSW, please consider making a donation towards maintenance costs. The Sydney Rockclimbing Club Rebolting Fund finances the replacement of old bolts on existing climbs and the maintenance of other hardware such as fixed ropes and anchors. The SRC purchases hardware, such as bolts and glue, and distributes them to volunteer rebolters across the state of New South Wales. For more information, including donation details, visit https://sydneyrockies.org.au/rebolting/

To get to the bottom Caves and Route, head diagonally down hill along the ramp below 'The Pretender'.

AT THE MOMENT (DEC 2014) WAIHOO ROAD IS IN DECENT CONDITION SO ITS QUICKEST TO DRIVE UP THIS WAY (READ 2ND DIRECTIONS BELOW)

Driving directions from Coffs Harbour are as follows:

Access is also available via Nana Glen however Waihou road is often in a poor state so it is best to use the access outlined above. If you are approaching via Nana Glen:

At Nana Glen turn east onto Bucca Rd. After 1.5km turn left onto Morrows Rd and set your odomenter to zero:

  1. 0.0km
    - Follow Morrows Rd for a few kilometers. The road will come to a first fork that crosses the railway line. Continue on the left, as the road to the right goes into a private property.
  2. 5.0km
    - On the second fork, stay on the right to cross the railway line. The road now becomes Waihou Rd. Keep going up zig zags on Waihou Rd until you reach Sherwood Rd.
  3. 12.3km
    - Turn a sharp left onto Sherwood Rd. The road will intersect with Pyriformis Rd. Continue left on Sherwood Rd.
  4. 13.6km
