good location but a bit of a one-mover. crux hold is razor sharp

First at the grade. It was super fun figuring out all the intricate beta for this route. Didn't use the flat jug above 'Wide World of Sports'

On my first day trying this most of the moves felt improbable, after trying half a dozen foot holds for each move, they began to feel easy.

Technical, reachy and crimpy section from the start all the way to the epic karate kick. Finding how to clip the draws here was a challenge on its own. Right after there you get into some easy climbing with a lot of rests to prepare you for the final boulder.

dogged it to figure out the moves and warm up, send second go. once you've got a sequence that works for you it's not too bad. feet are good, a few crimps at the start then jugs all the way.

Moves off the ground into some high feet and very reachy hands. Once you get into the crux it just keeps going until you hit the big dead point to a sloper. Felt moves on top rope and sent first attempt....

Could be 26, or harder?? I'm not sure because the crux is my style. Moves are objectively hard but it went down really quick; maybe I was having a good day and sorted beta fast. Haven't done anything like it before.

First shot after figuring out the moves. I ended up doing a big reach to an upside-down mono.

second half is great climbing and features, a couple loose holds toward the finish

put some work into it. did every move and made a good link on toprope from the 3rd draw to the end. really crimpy and techy, surprisingly not too bad on the skin.

some really interesting moves on this climb. not a giveaway for the grade, you get quite pumped doing a fair amount of locked off clipping.

some of the rock is dangerous looking but can be avoided.

some really reachy moves that would be quite difficult for anyone much shorter. Did a toehook beta at the start which makes the beginning move a bit easier

Tried the top section today. It's hard too. Basically one sharp bad left hand edge and a heap of even worse right hand bumps.

Will try to get out with thick skin and cold rock. Hopefully it feels reasonable with good conditions.

All moves except one complete now. Getting closer.

Figured out moves for the hardest section feels roughly v7. Only touched the last few holds rapping past. Looks around v5 but could be the redpoint crux given there is no rest before.

Keen to get back and try to finish it. Maybe closer to 28/9 given the difficulty of the moves at the top. I will need to get back on '200 Motels' and compare to have a better idea.
