Hat Head is a stunning place between Crescent Head and South West Rocks. Also a great place for a swim, surf or dive.
Lots of slab/vertical faces. Generally the rock can be quite loose and friable so care needs to be taken. Also, some rope protection is advisable for edges since the rock can also be sharp. All climbs are tope-rope only so that impact is negligible, so taking a set-up rope is recommended.
Low tide is preferable
Park at the car park at Hat Head Gap and take the trail that heads Nth (up the hill).
