Description

~100 meter long wall on the headland above the beach. Rock is pretty soft but there's some good spots. Loads of cracks.

Feel free to add new route/projects!

Beware of broken glass/rubbish (maybe consider taking some out with you )

Access issues inherited from New South Wales and ACT

If you have benefited from climbing infrastructure in NSW, please consider making a donation towards maintenance costs. The Sydney Rockclimbing Club Rebolting Fund finances the replacement of old bolts on existing climbs and the maintenance of other hardware such as fixed ropes and anchors. The SRC purchases hardware, such as bolts and glue, and distributes them to volunteer rebolters across the state of New South Wales. For more information, including donation details, visit https://sydneyrockies.org.au/rebolting/

Approach

You can access the bottom of the wall from either end. For the west end, head down next to bus stop and the apartment block. You'll find a (tricky) gully down to the bottom of the wall. For the east end head onto the rock opposite the memorial and down around the end to the bottom.

straight forward climb starting Pocket rockets rail then traversing across and up the pillar with cracks. and top out above using easy jugs and foot holds. Watch for spiders, they aint pretty and test all holds.

FA: kyle neville

(Test all holds) Start on rail at bottom ( broken off but improved) and feet on highest ledge, she’s a chossy start. Lunge to the 2 finger pocket and grab the side pull to the left. Pretty gentle Dyno to the rail and top out above using a left heel and nice jugs on the boulder above. Boulder to the left is out. Video on @zekewhitfield Instagram climbing story highlights

Pocket rocket but static, there’s crimps above and to the left to try out, not yet sent
