Description

On the South Western edge of the Red hill plateau. This is probably the best climbing on the hill, and looks to have been done at least as far back as the 80s.

There are several carrots set into the top of the cliff.

Access issues inherited from New South Wales and ACT

If you have benefited from climbing infrastructure in NSW, please consider making a donation towards maintenance costs. The Sydney Rockclimbing Club Rebolting Fund finances the replacement of old bolts on existing climbs and the maintenance of other hardware such as fixed ropes and anchors. The SRC purchases hardware, such as bolts and glue, and distributes them to volunteer rebolters across the state of New South Wales. For more information, including donation details, visit https://sydneyrockies.org.au/rebolting/

Approach

Either via the end of guardian parade at the culdesac or via brooker avenue bush track make your way onto the semi-circle bush track connected to guardian parade. Once on the track follow any out of the many small paths towards the cliff line.

Ethic

It's clearly been climbed historically, claiming FA's of obvious lines will result in raucous laughter

Grade Route

The slab to the North of the highball roof has clearly been climbed at some point in the past, there are several rusty carrots in the top of the cliff. It looks to offer numerous options in the low teens.

The overhang at the south of the wall offers some good potential for a few routes or boulders, but it's a fair fall. It's likely that they have been done in the past.

Up the easy ground to the left of the overhang

Start just on the right side of the fence, and follow the line of least resistence

Follow 'Toeing' until the roof, then step out left with your feet in space
