Ascents of Shinkansen having Beta

Pleasantly surprised to find that after a big break from climbing over summer my strength isn't too bad. My endurance however needs work.

Feels great to tick off the first V6 I'd ever seen anyone climb!

Stellar climb. The top-out is more satisfying than Shinkansof and I'd dare say easier as well.

Dream line for me. Took over a dozen sessions. Worth it.

Dialling the fridge. Pretty consistent now even with poor skin.

Had a go, go up to the end of the fridge. Could go in a session or a couple

Can get the sequence from the shelf but struggling to get from the start to the shelf. Really enjoying working it

So this is what it takes to be a big boy. Did every move in isolation but linking is a ways off. Need to work out toe hook positioning for crux cut section.

Conditions pretty bad Only had 1 burn Fell off the end of the sloper compression moves

First try of the day I made it all the way to the last move before you're standing on the mantle ledge only to find a handful of sand waiting for me. Every go after I failed getting to the rest. That's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes.

Worked the moves, made some links but didn't have enough beans for the send attempts. Mega line! Can't wait to return.

Can't believe it took me so long to try this classic line. Went down fairly quickly, after 4 or 5 burns.

Didn't expect the send, just having some burns to work the moves. Nontheless, excited

Fell at the lip on the flash go, gutted. First part is actually so good its unbelievable.

This fun burly climb took me 4-5 shots. The crux is super burly

Figured out how to do the start, it'll be tough piecing it all together though.

I flashed but I had done the other 6, just as good, perhaps a little easier?

Felt this was a bit softer than that P named German sounding one to its left that also get V6 both long and same 2nd section. But felt the initial cut loose on the other was harder. But perhaps this just played more to my strengths! Great climb though regardless.
