Another popular East coast headland featuring the famous orange granite boulders

Approach

Follow Gardens Road all the way North along the coast from St Helens / Binalong Bay. You will eventually reach a small carpark and short marked walk to the headland.

Grade Route

Sit start on the rail, very low feet. Heel hook as necessary to grab the diagonal crimp then delicate upwards. Careful not to dab.

Sit start, grab the crevasse.

Sit start adjacent Garden of Words. Follow the nice undercling flake up right.

Sit start at the massive jug. Wrestle with your feet and hands to a sort of mantle to punch up and secure the mono-pocket. Easy up.

From the right angle "Hey that looks like a map of... "

Start at the good diagonal hold, may have to heel hook the start hold if you are not tall due to slabby feet.

Start at the distinct knob. Harden then it looks due to very sandy feet.

Low compression start, up the arete.

Start from the good ledge. To really crank it up start using the compression undercling.
