Description

Kresperspitze (2620 m) is a mountain located near the Bielerhöhe and can be reached via the Silvretta Hochalpenstrasse. The rock quality is really good (instead of lots of grass and dirt like at the Hochmaderer) and the climb is worth it. Two bolted routes exist. Topo: http://www.alpenverein.at/vorarlberg/home/archiv/archiv2010/2010_09_10_kresperspitze.php

Approach

From Alpe Vermont about 1 hour of steep grass terrain. Not so easy when wet, be sure to grab some good walking boots.

Descent notes

Best choice is abseiling. Or you can reach the summit and descend via the east ridge through difficult and steep terrain (at least T5, not recommended).

Grade Route

Don't underestimate the first pitch. Either you need a really big camalot or you must climb freely the first 10 meters through a gutter.

Mainly UIAA 6/6+, eine Stelle 7 / 6+ A0. Sehr lohnende Route, der Einstieg befindet sich 2m links der Doktor Ziegenbock!
