Summary

Free standing rock that can be climbed on all sides. Delicate approach to the south sectors and exposure high on a steep forest slope give it an unexpectedly alpine feel.

Approach

From Hackerbauer follow signs towards Schieferstein and Pfennigstein. You will pass the Crag on its north side at a bend in the path. It's free standing and should be obvious. Approach the south wall sector along the east side. The west side leads down to the west / lower south sector, is very steep and slippery (no path) and that sector is very overgrown and does not seem worthwhile.
