Summary

Easy climbing area, ideal with kids!

Description

Four to six grade routes on a long cliff/wall of hard sandstone, slightly 'hidden' surrounded by forest and trees. It is known as a good place for beginners or for practicing techniques.

The official 2014 topo guide is available from most webshops. The routes that are not straight-up are drawn here on thecrag. The route names are written on the rock wall.

Approach

(50.325218, 4.975757) Parking by car is only allowed along the road from Dorrine -> Durnal, just on the sharp bend. The wall is a five-minute walk from the parking. Take the track to the left just before the bridge, then go up the little stairs.

One of the more vertical and even parts of the Durnal wall, one 5c move at about 5 meters altitude and a fishy part near the end.

The route starts off with a really cool 6a move to pass the small roof structure. The move requires an extensive reach, after that it's really easy and most certainly not 6a material.
