Great area for novices, but a bit of a hike.

Approach

Follow the trail to Pennant Point for around 45 minutes from the parking lot.

Off the trail to the left just after a large graffiti "4" on the rock.

Descent notes

Scramble/walk off either end of the cliff.

Low ball warmup on far left end.

Sit start on left leaning rail right of Easy. Make a couple moves into Easy and top out.

SDS. Left leaning crack.

They say SDS, crimping (up to) the quartz eye in the middle of the wall and topping out. V4 in the old guide book; V1 according to on-line sources.

Use small edges.

Start on 'Even Crimpier SDS' then traverse through the starts of 'Supercalafragalisticextrafreakingcrimpy' and 'Cyclops' and top out.

Left leaning crack arching from the left side of the corner.

Climb the pillar, avoiding the crack on the left.

Sit start and climb the left crack of Bearhug/Heffalump.

SDS. Chimney up into the overhang and over.

Climb the arête.

Climb between the twin cracks.

Each one of them is listed on its own separately.

The left twin crack

Climb up left face of small corner.

SDS. Traverse along the flake running up to the corner.

Variation of 'LA Burn SDS'.

Exit half way along the traverse and mantle top out.

Slab on far right of Wall.

SDS. Follow crimps up the overhang on the small wall across and to the right of Meander.

A little ways around the corner to the right

Traverse left to right and top out after crack at far right. Located around the corner at the far right of the IMAX wall.

SDS. Up the middle of the face with Iron Cross.

Left to Right traverse, opposite of Iron Cross.

Running start and jump for the jug. Located around the corner, to the right of the Iron Cross face.

Sit start, then up and left to the flake that starts 'Whale Snatch'.
