From Volcan, turn in at the muddy small horse pen. Head to the end, the gate should be open. Say hola and the lady should come out to chat and ask you about paying to pass through. She'll probably point you at the obvious trail cutting uphill, follow the most traveled track. The first obvious left above the second canal seems to be the best access currently. If you miss it, take the left at the small drainage and just head uphill.
