Roche aux Corbeaux (Linchamps)

  • Grade context: FR
  • Photos: 2

A small crag with some surprising sharp roofs. Easy approach and wonderful ambiance.

In 2020 the bolts were still in good shape.

The routes are easy to discover, and height is limited to about 15m.

Not much more info from a local.

Access issues inherited from France

As of 2020, some privately owned climbing areas may have restricted access. Check with

(49.916829, 4.839881) next to the "Ruisseau du Corbeau" (Raven's Creek.) Walk upstream for a few hundred meters and once you see moody, dark rock to the left, look for a path to the right, up the hill, where you can already see the rock through the trees.

(Climb the dark rock too if you like, it looks like you can make some really crumbly boulders here.)

Ethic inherited from France

Park where indicated, take care of the environment, buy the local guidebook when possible (this is one of the ways you can help local route setters), clean up your shoes before climbing, don't spray beta, be polite.

Check for COVID-19 restrictions currently in place.

At some time in the past, not too long ago, someone bolted the place and, as happens so often in the smaller crags, everything was forgotten. Only one name remains painted on the wall.
