Introduction to Chamonix slab climbing and route finding along ridges (descent).

No. Fixed ropes down gully into basin below wall. Crampons and Ice axe may be needed on approach and descent early season.

Approach

Walk from l'Index teleferique over col de Floria descending into valley behind.

A classic slab climb with some tricky route finding. A few bolts guiding the way over the slabs, otherwise small cams and nuts. Depending on season you may need crampons and axe for approach & descent.
