Description

There is an outdoor area in the form of a tower made of precast concrete. The handles are made from outside and screwed elements. The interior of the tower was removed and then installed a variable overhang with 6 possible routes in 2005. This means that our total of 15 more climbing routes are inside the climbing tower available and we therefore have more opportunities to practice and training.

The total height of the tower is 18.40 meters. Of these, 16.10 meters climbable. With an outside diameter of 4.24 meters, this is an impressive sight. Inside the climbing tower climbing height is 14 meters and the overhang 12 meters.

The climbing tower offers outside of an area of 160 m² and 110 m² for indoor climbing. These are spread over 11 climbing routes with 33 possible climbing routes of varying difficulty. Thus, currently the Tower allows 11 people at a time to climb with rope securing top roping or lead climbing. The fuses are mounted in a distance of 1.16 m. The maximum fall height is 2.32 m, plus rope stretch.

The lower range is available at a drop height of one meter over a width of 12 meters as Boulder area. This can be done without safety ropes.

History

The result is the climbing tower from an old wood shavings tower of a Pfullendorfer Glazier. On 19 May 2001, this tower was dismantled by members of the Section. Within a year, the 8-concrete rings for the new use were prepared. In mid-July 2002, there was time, the tower was erected at its new location and with a beautiful wooden roof. In the following months, the area was reconstructed around the tower and then brought the climbing tower in the present condition. The official inauguration of the pretty plant was in a special ceremony on May 17 of 2003.

In 2009, the plant was expanded to two Boulder rocks. Thus, climbing without a rope fuse on this rock is now possible and our system even more attractive.
