Ascents in Haidhofer Schlossbergwand

Schwer sauber in über den Haken zu bleiben, mit Riß rechts unten eher 7+.

Pretty exhausting, almost failed here

Half the route is along a hollow flake you got to trust, but the climbing is cool

There's an oddly well hidden sidepull in the crux that I totally missed for long enough that I had to rest...

Not that hard if you know how to do it...

Meh... you can't really avoid using the crack on the right and I was constantly wondering whether I'm supposed to or not.

Mossy at first, but the rest is good climbing for the grade

A bit chossy under the first bolt. Put in two slings on the way. One on the jammed rock under the second bolt (was quite useless for me - but nice for people afterwards, if it's a longer sling). The second sling was after second bolt on a nice rock head. Schwertner guide book said to bring nuts (& slings), which I did, but didn't really find a use for the nuts. With the two slings it felt well protected. Interesting and diverse climbing for the grade.

Nice, dark and grippy Löchleskalk .

Very overgrown in the second half. Climbed the right part, around last bolt, as a chimney. Didn't feel easier than the direct route. Very chossy on the last 2 meters. Used anchor of direct variant. Even though all this doesn't sound too fun, I liked the old variant. Just sad that it doesn't have its own anchor and you need to climb over the chossy part to get to the left anchor.

Had to sit several times at two cruxy hard moves in the middle part.

Put a small nut in under first bolt. Didn't feel too good about it at first, but it endured 3 lowerings and had to be freed with the nut tool ¯_(ツ)_/¯.
