Seasonality

Description

A gorge with cretes largest collection of climbs in the 7b to 8a range. Non overhanging routes are generally very sharp. Several multipitch and trad routes also available. Routes scattered either side of the gorge.

Approach

From kali limenes the guidebook is not very helpful. If you park at the coast guard in the village follow the road west that is initially concrete and goes up hill. The road soon turns to gravel. After about 500m you get to a Y junction. The right fork goes up hill. do not take this. The left fork passes through a gap in a fence with the opening sometimes guarded by a dog. This road swings back towards the coast and a fence that is closed about another 500m on. Open the wire gate. You are then on a wide path that contours around the coast for another 400m. Near goat pens you cross a small valley. There are red blazes and cairns from here that lead to the gorge, about 45 minutes.
