A quaint and beautiful seaside village sits at the foot of some incredible limestone cliffs.
Description
Perfect rock quality, sectors with different climbing styles, tufas and sea view. Enjoy beautiful scenery, climb hard and chill at the sea. Kyparissi is only about 1h drive from Leonidio, and thus can be easily included in your Leonidio climbing trip, although it's worth to be treated as a separate destination! There are routes in all grades but there is also a lot for hard movers. Just like many other crags in Greece, Kyparissi has been evolving rapidly over the past years, continue to check theCrag for the latest developments!
Approach
About 4 hours from Athens. It is best to take the highway to Tripoli and Sparta, then to Kyparissi.
Where to stay

Hotel Paraliako is located in the centre of Kyparissi, 10 minutes walking from the sector kastraki and 30 meters far from the beach. It provides breakfast in a complete buffet in the cafeteria of the hotel and high quality services in a reasonable prices.
Myrtoo studios-appartments are located also in the centre of Kyparissi next to the beach and 10 minutes walking from the sector Kastraki. All the appartments have kitchen and balconies with seaview.

General entries:
There are several guest houses to stay in Kyparissi itself. Cavo Kortia is highly recommended, with beautiful stone apartments and a restaurant. Some people suggest to stay at village Harakas which is 9km from Kyparissi (very close to 3 crags). If you are already in Leonidio, you can choose to visit Kyparissi crags as a day trip (50 minutes by the new 2016 coastal road). Apparently it's also possible to camp at sector Vlychada, but this is about 30 mins from Kyparissi proper.
