Description

This sector is a part of Katalava. It lies between the cave and the Katalava Cetral Part. The crag is about 30 meters high. The routes are done in a good quality limestone. All the routes were bolted in NOvember and December 2019 and have not been climbed yet. They are open projects.

Approach

Take a path from Agios Giorgos Church and go 15 minutes uphill to the cave, then 100 meters to the left.

Grade Route

This project has two pitches. The lower part is fingery, then an easy climbing to the first belay station. The second pitch leads in a slightly overhanging wall with small holds.

Bouldery lower part with small crimps and slopers, then a continuous climbing to the anchor.

Very bouldery lower part, then a continuous climbing along the arete.

Bouldery lower part on small crimps, then a continuous climbing to the anchor.

An easy variant of the Open project 4.

An easy nice climbing.

This route has the same bolts as Shampoo in the first half. Then it goes along the aréte from the left side.

Technical climbing, the crux is in the central part on small crimps.

Very bouldery start on small holds. Then a continuous climbing, difficulties also in the central part. This is a variant of the Open project 7.

You can use this easy route to get down from the upper part of Katalava crag ( by abseiling).
